The Chamonix valley is world famous for its exceptional ski touring routes. With or without a ski lift, a moderate physical effort will allow you to access areas offering an extraordinary atmosphere. In addition to the pleasures of skiing, experience a real immersion in the heart of the winter mountain. Discover the Massif des Aiguilles Rouges and the Massif du Mont Blanc and ski perfect snow in unsuspected areas. You don't need to be an expert to enjoy Chamonix on ski touring! Whatever your experience and your form, our perfect knowledge of the place allows us to offer you adapted outings.

From the Aiguillette des Houches to the Col de l'Encrenaz, the Massif des Aiguilles Rouges includes a multitude of routes. The Lac Blanc sector: Col des Dards, Col du Belvédère is, in return, particularly well suited for initiation. The Col des Crochues - Col de Bérard - Le Buet crossing will take you to the back of the Aiguilles Rouges.

The mountains of Lake Emosson are the place for ski tours in isolated areas. The Col de la Terrasse, the Col de Fenestral and Bel Oiseau are the most famous destinations.

The Argentière Bassin is a unique place in the world for ski touring. The Passon, Chardonnet, Tour Noir and Argentière passes are timeless classics and magnificent lookouts on the vertiginous north faces.

The Vallée Blanche sector is particularly famous for ski touring in the Combe Maudite, the Col d´Entrèves. The Requin or Cosmiques refuge is an invitation to extend the experience by spending a night in the mountains.

The Balme - Vallorcine sector offers many possibilities. The Pointe de Carraye is ideal for an initiation. The Grandes Autannes, the Pointe de Bron and the Pointe du Midi des Grands guarantee unforgettable descents on the Village of Trient in Switzerland.
 

Group booking

The group formula associates people who do not necessarily know each other. It is ideal for people looking for group friendliness and attractive prices. A previous experience in ski touring is required. If you do not, then the half-day outing is perfect for you.

Group formula programme

Tuesday & Friday
Discovery of the Chamonix Valley, outing examples: Col des Dards, Col du Belvédère, Pointe de Carraye (Le Tour). Vertical ascent up to 600m.

Saturday
The iconic traverses, outing examples : 
Col de l'Encrenaz, Brèche de Bérard (Key Hole), Col du Passon. Vertical ascent up to 1000m.

Dates (group booking) : See online booking

Guiding policy (group booking) : Group from 3 to 6 people maximum per guide. Children, minimum 15 years old accompanied by a parent. No splitboard in group session, only in private booking

Meeting point (group booking) : Your guide will contact you by telephone the evening before your trip, around 6.30pm, to finalize the meeting time and place for the following day

Departure (group booking) : The departure is guaranteed with a minimum of 3  registered participants

Price 2025 (group booking) : 165€ per person

Private booking

A private booking is the historical relationship that binds a guide to their clients. It allows you to be either alone or in a group of friends with your guide. Your guide can organize your trip to meet your specific needs. It is undoubtedly the ideal formula to realize your projects because it guarantees you a maximum of comfort. You can book a private guide online for a day of ski touring. The half-day can also be booked online on the dedicated page

Guiding policy (private booking) : Group of 1 - 6 people per guide. Children, minimum 12 years old accompanied by a parent

Meeting Point (private booking) : Your guide will call you the evening before your trip around 6.30pm to organize the meeting time and place

Group from 1 to 2 people : 430€
Group from 3 to 4 people : 460€
Group from 5 to 6 people : 490€

Brèche Puiseux, 3 Cols, Buet, Aiguille d'Argentière cannot be booked online. Contact us

Duration : Full day, 5 to 6 hours in total (times given as an indication)

Area of activity : Chamonix Valley

Ability level : For skiers who regularly ski off-piste, mastery of skiing in all types of snow. A previous experience in ski touring is required. The vertical gain required may vary depending on the specific program you choose.

Formality : Make sure you have valid individual liability insurance for the practice of this activity without any location or altitude restrictions, including assistance, search and rescue, and repatriation

Equipment

We recommend that you take special care in choosing your equipment because it contributes greatly to the success of your trip. Weight is decisive; you must always evaluate the weight / comfort ratio in order to find a good compromise. In general, it is better to stack thin layers rather than having one big garment and it is essential to stay dry in all circumstances.
